On Monday 7th July we celebrated Le Tour de France in school. The children experienced a range of activities from a French Café to French art and designing their own cycling tops. They had a fantastic day and dressed up in red, white and blue!

A campaign led by our Year 5 children last year has led to a permanent memorial in the centre of York. The children learnt about the heroic actions of French pilot Yves Mahe who saved York from further damage during a bombing raid in 1942.
