Science Day 2015

On Friday 24th April the whole school enjoyed Science Day.  Dr Annie Hodgson from The University of York started our day with an assembly full of exciting experiments.  The children then took part in a range of activities from swimming fish to building ramps, to balloon rockets and making giant bubbles.

Solar Eclipse

On Friday the 20th March the children had the unique opportunity to experience the Partial Solar Eclipse in school.  Dr Emily Brunsden from the University of York worked with the children and they were able to view the eclipse through solar glasses and the solar telescope!  It was a fantastic, awe inspiring experience!

The Lord Mayor visits school!
